Applying National Language Support

Report products implement a National Language Support (NLS) feature, which enables you to run the applications and your reports in different languages. After you enable the NLS feature for your Designer or reports, when you run them, Report Engine retrieves the language-dependent information according to the specified locale in order to make the application or reports match the locale setting. This topic introduces how you can edit NLS at application and report levels respectively in Designer.

Server administrators can also edit NLS on the Server Console. For more information, see National Language Support in the Report Server Guide.
